The daytime and sleep periods were determined for each participant according to their actual waking and sleeping time as recorded in their diaries. One hundred and eighty-nine participants took antihypertensive medications and measured BP results were corrected (+15 mmHg for SBP and +10 mmHg for DBP) prior to analysis as recommended by previous studies. NS, non-significant.
