Hemocytes from control insects (a,c) and cold-stressed insects (b,d) were stained with SR-VAD-FMK to analyze caspase activity (red), while DAPI was used for DNA staining (blue), and Oregon Green 488 phalloidin was used to visualize the F-actin cytoskeleton (green).
