Evaluation of clinical blood chemistries of STAT2^−/− hamsters infected with CCHFV. Hamsters were subcutaneously infected with 100 LD₅₀ (100 TCID₅₀) of IbAr10200 CCHFV. Animals were humanely euthanized at 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 dpi (n = 5/time point) and serum was collected and various biochemical markers were assessed. One-way ANOVA followed by Dunnett’s multiple comparisons tests was performed using GraphPad Prism version 8.0.0 for Windows (GraphPad Software, San Diego California USA, www.graphpad.com). Means and standard errors are reported. *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001, compared to mock-infected animals.
