Comparison of participant compliance with daily weight monitoring between the innovative telemonitoring enhanced care program for chronic heart failure (ITEC-CHF) and the control groups. Under the conventional weight monitoring standard of at least 4 days per week, there was no significant difference between the ITEC-CHF and the control groups (P=.06). Under a stricter weight monitoring criterion of at least 6 days per week, more participants in the ITEC-CHF group were found to achieve this criterion than those in the control group (P=.005).
