Histogram of the distribution of body mass index (BMI) (kg/m²) in 155 consecutive patients (female and male) admitted to Grenoble University Hospital for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection (retrospective cohort study). Histogram illustrating that a majority of COVID patients, more precisely, 64% of COVID-19 patients were overweight or obese (BMI > 25 kg/m²). The median BMI of females (F) and males (M) was 26.30 and 27.08 kg/m², respectively.
