Pathways enriched based on upregulated genes in tame and those upregulated in aggressive foxes. ClueGo App47 was used to examine for enriched KEGG and Reactome pathways based on DEG upregulated in tame (A) and those upregulated in aggressive (B). Primary pathways enriched based on upregulated genes in tame foxes included phase I functionalization of compounds, including biological oxidations and metabolism, neutrophil degranulation, including innate immune system, metabolism of proteins, and extracellular matrix organization. Those pathways enriched based on upregulated genes in aggressive foxes include mTOR signaling pathway, innate immune system, endocytosis, and cilium assembly.
