Figs. 1-A, 1-B, and 1-C The Osteoarthritis Research Society International (OARSI) score offers a more standardized and granular radiographic assessment than does Kellgren-Lawrence (KL) grade. All 3 knee radiographs demonstrate KL grade-4 osteoarthritis (OA) given definite osteophyte formation and severe joint-space narrowing. However, the OARSI score is different for each radiograph, demonstrating differences in the presence of osteophytes and differences in medial and lateral involvement.
