Phenylephrine versus colloids (hydroxyethyl starch) Group 1: women received phenylephrine at 60 µg/min for 2 min unless SBP was > 120% of baseline immediately after intrathecal injection Group 2: women received rapid colloid infusion (12 mL/kg of hydroxyethyl starch 6%) immediately after intrathecal injection |
