Minocycline induced autophagy in THP-1 cells. (a) Minocycline induced autophagy in a dose-dependent manner. THP-1 cells were treated with indicated concentration of minocycline for 12 h. (b) THP-1 cells were treated with 50 μg/ml minocycline for 6, 12, and 24 h. (c) THP-1 cells were stimulated by 1 μg/ml LPS followed with 50 μg/ml minocycline for 12 h. (d) THP-1 cells were treated in the absence or presence of chloroquine (CQ, 20 μM) for 1 h and then stimulated with 1 μg/ml LPS without or with 50 μg/ml minocycline for 12 h.
