Children with CF, are from families with significant psychosocial stresses (consequences: sub‐optimal treatment, irregular clinic attendance, erratic health status). |
Interventions |
Program included at least four home visits from both nurse and psychologist (in addition to routine nurse specialist input) over a six‐month period. |
Outcomes |
'General Health Questionnaire', 'Parenting Stress Index', 'Harter self‐esteem' (for children aged over 8 years), pulmonary function (FVC, FEV1), Take‐up of clinic appointments, drug prescription and planned admissions. |
