Methods RCT.
Pilot study of an education and behavioural adaptation program (delivered via a mentorship system, telephone and IT tools) designed to enhance self‐management in adolescents.
Participants 46 adolescents aged 12‐19 with CF.
Interventions 3 groups: standard care (controls; N = 15); standard care + phone mentoring (N = 16); standard care, phone mentoring + IT‐tool (N = 15).
Treatment lasted for 6 months with a further 6 months follow up, outcomes were re‐assessed at 3, 6, and 12 months.
