Exclusion criteria: aged < 18 years; pregnant woman; ocular surface disease (severe dry eye, lagoftalmo, entropium, ectropium)

Interventions Intervention characteristics
No TTO group
  • TTO shampoo 0.25% and ointment 5% daily

  • Frequency (or dosing schedule): once a day

  • Concentration: shampoo 0.25% and ointment 5%


TTO (intervention) group
  • TTO solution 50% once a week for 6 weeks
