Date Event Description
10 June 2020 New citation required but conclusions have not changed Two authors have joined the review team (SS and NJ) and SS has taken the lead on the review.
Previous versions of this review were found to be noncompliant with the Cochrane conflict of interest policy, which includes the relevant parts of the Cochrane Commercial Sponsorship Policy, by the Cochrane Funding Arbiters. This updated version of the review is now compliant with the policy.
No new data have been included in this version of the review, therefore our conclusions remain the same. Due to a lack of research in this area, the review will not be updated until the authors become aware of new research in the field.
10 June 2020 New search has been performed A search of the Cystic Fibrosis and Genetic Disorders Review Group's Cystic Fibrosis Trials Register identified four references and online registry searches identified two references. One of the references from the Cochrane Register search was a duplicate of an additional reference to the included trial (Yau 2014); none of the remaining references evaluated antimicrobial testing to guide antibiotic therapy and therefore were not even listed as excluded in the current version of the review.
19 March 2020 Amended Clarification statement added from Alan Smyth, Co‐ordinating Editor on 19 March 2020: This review was found by the Cochrane Funding Arbiters, post‐publication, to be noncompliant with the Cochrane conflict of interest policy, which includes the relevant parts of the Cochrane Commercial Sponsorship Policy. The review will be updated by August 2020; both authors of the future update will be free of conflicts.
