Prefrontal cortex tissue was collected and examined for the mRNA expression of BDNF, GABA_Aα1, GABA_b1, and 5-HT_1A reporters. (a) There is no difference in the mRNA expression of BDNF between groups. (b) The mRNA expression of GABA_Aα1 is higher in the vehicle group than in the Abx and Abx+N1115 groups (p<0.01; p<0.01, respectively). (c) There is no difference in the mRNA expression of GABA_b1 between groups. (d) There is no difference in the mRNA expression of 5-HT_1A between groups. **p<0.01 for intergroup comparisons.
