Experimental procedure. Participants were instructed to learn the given temporal order of a set of six sentences involving a single person or object and had to infer from these six sentences a common trait of the person or feature of the object. All question were preceded by a blank screen with fixation cross in the center which was jittered randomly between 0-2 s, and ratings had to be answered within 5 s
