Caspase 3/7 activity (RLU) in cancer cells treated with methanol and hexane extracts of T. violacea. (A) Hela, (B) MCF7, (C) ME-180, (D) MDA-MB-231 and € MRC5 cell lines were treated for 24-h with extracts of TV. Enzymatic activities of caspase 3/7 activities in treated and untreated cells were then determined by luminescence assay. This was analyzed using one-way ANOVA with Dunnett's comparison post hoc test, p < 0.05.
