Schematic of the anchor-away system. After addition of the chemical inducer of dimerization, rapamycin, the FRB tagged protein on the histone acetyltransferase (HAT) protein dimerizes with the FKBP tag on the anchor protein (usually a ribosomal protein, such as RPL13A).
