The attachment style (AS) of at-risk adolescents (n = 31) in this equine-facilitated learning (EFL) program based on their anxiety and avoidance scores. The gender of the adolescents is illustrated in red for female, green for non-binary, and blue for male. The adolescents’ AS (i.e., quadrants) was determined using an Experiences in Close Relationships-Relationship Structure (ECR-RS) questionnaire [15,16]. The ECR-RS questionnaire was developed to quantify the degree of anxiety and avoidance in their personal relationship with their mother, father, romantic partner, and best friends [16]. Therefore, this AS represents the average score of at-risk adolescents according to four types of close relationships with their parents, friends, and partners.
