B/B + T lymphocyte ratio in spleen, peritoneum and peripheral blood were determined using a FACS-based protocol identifying B cells (B220+CD5 live lymphocytes) and T cells (B220CD5+ live lymphocytes). Statistical analysis was performed using a Mann–Whitney U-test.
