  MCF10A or AS‐CDC7 cells were either mock‐treated or treated with 10 μM XL413 for 30 min, at which point 4 mM HU was added and cells further incubated for the indicated times. Whole‐cell extracts were then analysed by Western blotting with the indicated antibodies. Data are representative of at least two independent experiments.

  AS‐CDC7 cells were either mock‐treated or treated with 10 μM 3MB‐PP1, 4 mM HU or both for 24 h before performing neutral comet assays. Representative images of cells are shown. Scale bar = 100 μm.
