Cells were transfected with emGFP vector only or with a vector expressing full-length murine CD63 cloned in-frame with emGFP. Arrow heads indicate the expected positions of CD63 (upper) and emGFP (lower). (B) Purified EVs from HEK293T transfectants are brightly illuminated under a 488 nm wavelength lamp. (C) Purified EVs from CD63e^mGFP transfectants are engulfed by naive HEK293T cells as determined using immunofluorescence and flow cytometry.
