Networks trained on segmented objects achieve better classification accuracy in the early stages of training than the networks trained on unsegmented objects for shallow networks (ResNet-6, ResNet-10), and they converge in less epochs. Individual data points indicate the moment of convergence, defined as the first epoch to reach 95% of the maximum accuracy across all epochs.
