HE inhibited the NF-kB p65 signalling pathway after CI/R injury. The mice were treated with HE (106 μmol/kg, i.p.) or vehicle once daily for 3 consecutive days after ischaemia. The protein levels were detected by Western blot. (A) The representative images show the levels of p-IKKβ, IKKβ, p-p65, p65, and β-tubulin by Western blotting. β-actin was used as a loading control. (B) Quantitative analysis showed that HE decreased the expression levels of p-IKKβ and p-p65 after cerebral CI/R injury.
