Chlor uptake by PC-3 cells. PC-3 cells were incubated with Chlor formulations at the same Chlor concentration (5 μM) for 1, 3, 6, 12 and 24 h. Fluorescent signal was detected using a flow cytometer at 488 nm excitation to measure the intracellular Chlor and expressed as the integrated mean fluorescence intensity (iMFI) ratio calculated as reported in Materials and Methods.
