CHO cells stably expressing mCherry-paxillin were transiently transfected with GFP, GFP-kindlin-2 or GFP-kindlin-3 (GFP-K2 or GFP-K3), or GFP-kindlin-3 F3mutx3 (GFP-K3 F3mutx3). 18 h after replating on fibronectin-coated glass-bottom dishes, live cells were imaged by epifluorescence (EPI) and/or TIRF microscopy as indicated.
