The mean percentage of days with an intake of potato TGAs above the LOAEL of 1 mg/kg bw per age group for each survey was calculated by averaging the percentage of days above the reference for each subject and then averaged over all subjects within the age group for each survey. The process was iterated 1,000 times as for the exposure estimates, and a mean of the mean percentage of days above the reference per age group was calculated together with a 95% confidence interval.
