XRD patterns of the nanocomposites (a) before and (b) after calcination, compared with those of pure anatase TiO₂ (JCPDS 00-021-1272) and sol–gel synthesized m-BiVO₄ (JCPDS-00-075-1866). Prior to the calcination of the samples, the refinement of the patterns shows the formation of orthorhombic phase of BiVO₄.
