Subcellular localisation of the tomato terpene synthase (TPS) and trans‐prenyltransferase (TPT) proteins. The complete open reading frames of TPTs (bottom line) and the first c. 120 codons of TPSs were fused to a downstream GFP and transiently expressed in Arabidopsis leaf protoplasts. GFP fluorescence indicates the location of each fusion protein (shown in green) and the location of chloroplasts was determined by chlorophyll autofluorescence (shown in red), pictures shown are the merged channel.
