Mast cell deficient Cpa3^cre and their cell-competent littermates Cpa3^wt mice were infected with L. sigmodontis for 40 days. IL-4 (A), IL-13 (B), IL-10 (C) and IFN-γ (D) were measured by ELISA in the supernatant of spleen cells after stimulation with LsAg or anti-CD3. Each dot represents a value from a single mouse, the lines represent the mean. Data are combined from two independent experiments (n = 8 Cpa3^wt and n = 8 Cpa3^cre mice) and were analyzed by unpaired student t test.
