Mechanical testing results of repair tissue in the retrieved joints from the BLANK and GRADIENT groups at 12 weeks postimplantation. (A) Elastic modulus, (B) fiber modulus, (C) permeability, and (D) Poisson’s ratio. All values are expressed as the average + standard deviation (n = 4). No significant differences in any of the four model parameter values were observed between the two groups. The Poisson’s ratio for the BLANK group was 0.17 ± 0.15 and the GRADIENT group Poisson’s ratio was 0.043 ± 0.051.
