The black line represents the position of the fixation/target stimulus on the screen. The target appeared to the left of the fixation stimulus in both trials. The left panel shows a valid first saccade (green), the time window that was employed to determine the landing position of the initial saccade (yellow), and a late saccades (pink). The right panel shows an early “anticipatory” saccade before target onset. The first saccade after target onset was classified as invalid.
