Effect of local perfusion of buspirone (50–500 nM) on nigral amino acid levels of GABA (a–c) and glutamate (Glu) (d–f). Local perfusion of buspirone raised nigral GABA levels in naïve (n = 9) and 6‐OHDA (n = 11) groups, but with less intensity, and it had no effect in 6‐OHDA/l‐DOPA (n = 7) group (a).
