The expression of COX-2, IL-1β, and TNF-α was elevated in the lumbar spinal cords of SOD1G93A mice. (A,B) Western blot analysis was used to detect the expression of COX-2, TNF-α, and IL-1β in the spinal cords of SOD1G93A mice at the ages of 60 days (in the presymptom stage of ALS), 85 days (in the onset stage of ALS), and 117 days (in the end stage of ALS). (C–E) IHC was used to detect the distribution of COX-2, IL-1β, and TNF-α in the lumbar anterior horn of SOD1G93A transgenic mice at different stages. (F) Positive staining for COX-2, IL-1β, and TNF-α in the anterior horns of the spinal cords of SOD1G93A mice was statistically analyzed with Image-Pro Plus (IPP).
