Ace2 and Snf5 suppress the hypha-to-yeast transition in a Cbk1-dependent manner. The indicated strains were induced to form hyphae in Spider medium (SM) at 37°C for 4 h. The cells were fixed, and the percentage of hyphae with yeast buds at subapical compartments was determined.
