Unbiased metabolomics analysis of chicken embryo at day 7 (ED 7). After 7 days of incubation, blood vessel formation was distinguished, as shown by area A. Organic molecules were extracted from three distinct areas of A (vessel area), B (vessel starting area), and C (nonvessel area) and were extracted using chloroform, methanol, and PBS. The hydrophobic molecules from areas A, B, and C were analyzed by GCMS.
