Linkage disequilibrium (r²) in the CTSL gene in the included populations. Of the 12 variants shown in Table 5, one was INDEL and was not added to the Haploview program. Of the remaining 11, some were not polymorphic in the different populations. Linkage disequilibrium between variants is shown in the figures, 10 in Americans (Fig. 5A), 8 in Africans (Fig. 5B), 7 in Europeans (Fig. 5C), and 4 in Asians (Fig. 5D).
