Table showing the horizonal occurrence of each recorded pycnodont taxa known from Morocco. References for each are present throughout the text. Pycnodonts are diverse across the Cretaceous of Morocco and lesser so in the Jurassic and Paleogene. Surprisingly, there is not a single species overlap between any two horizons, suggesting rapid faunal turnovers occurred. Only a single genus, Paranursallia is present in both the Cenomanian Jebel Tselfat and Turonian of Asfla but are represented by different species.
