Serum tested included sera from mice infected with MTLV (MTLV pos), sera from mice free of MTLV (MTLV neg), and sera from the index cases. Naive and MTLV infected D10.G.4 cells show strong fluorescence when exposed to serum from the index case. Naïve cells do not show fluorescence when exposed to serum from a mouse exposed to MTLV (positive control).
