(G-H) Striatal c-jun mRNA levels are not impacted by oxycodone withdrawal whereas (I-J) junB mRNA expression is increased in both LgA-L and LgA-H groups. (K-L) junD mRNA levels are increased in the striatum of ShA and LgA-L rats. The values in the bar graphs represent means ± SEM (n=5–15 animals per group). Note the differences in the scales on the Y-axis for the 3 mRNAs, with striatal junB and junD showing greater magnitude of changes in expression.
