Model 2 was adjusted for continuous age, sex, race, diabetes, current smoking, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, body mass index, hemoglobin, white blood cell count, CAD history, HF history, PAD history, and cardiovascular medication use (ACE inhibitor/ARB, aspirin, beta-blocker, clopidogrel, and statin).
