ELA activates APLNR, which induces rapid and transit AKT and ERK activation that activates mTOR targets S6K and 4EBP1 and inhibits autophagy, cell survival, proliferation, and migration. Calcium (Ca2+) inhibition after ELA/APLNR interaction is also indicated. The negative feedback loop (NGL) from mTORC1 and S6K to AKT and ERK is shown.
