SROC meta-analysis of the diagnostic performance of the trial of antibiotics against reference mycobacteriology tests for diagnosing pulmonary tuberculosis in eight studies

Area under the SROC is 0·77 (95% CI 0·73–0·80). Mycobacteriology tests included culture only or culture plus smear microscopy. The confidence contour shows the range that is likely to contain the population summary operating point and the prediction interval is the range that is likely to contain where study data that are not yet observed would fall.
