All samples were incubated at 65°C with 300 rpm shaking. At each time point, aliquots were taken and combined with ThT for fluorescence measurement. The fluorescence intensity was normalized to the value of the plateau phase in each reaction and data points correspond to the average ± standard deviation of three replicates. (E) SDS-PAGE analysis of mature fibrils formed at pH 2 and pH 6.3. Ladder bands are: 10, 15, 20, 25, 37, 50, 75, 100, 150, and 250 kDa.
