Effects of LIPUS on the renal apoptosis-related molecular signals in an AKI mouse model. Animals were euthanized 48 h after IRI. The LIPUS treatment was performed before IRI procedure and after IRI until the day of euthanization. The protein levels of GRP78, Chop, Bcl-2, Bax, Cox-2, and cleaved caspase-3 in the kidneys were determined by Western blot, which were quantified by densitometry and normalized by β-actin levels. Data are presented as mean ± SEM (n = 8). *p < 0.05 versus sham; #p < 0.05 versus IRI alone.
