Table 2.

Field report of the 2016 mass bleaching event. The table shows the severity and mortality associated with the 2016 bleaching event as reported by Global Coral Reef Monitoring Network (Kimura et al., 2018). For every region surveyed in this report (identified by an ID and a region name), we show the corresponding region in our study and the associated average API against heat stress ( APIheat ), the probability of presence of heat stress adapted genotypes ( PAheat ) and degree of heat stress in 2016 (estimated as the number of days under bleaching alert). Colour scales highlight the variation of the value of each variable
