Combination of shBC200 and TMZ inhibits tumor growth in GB mice models. (A) Tumor size over time curve indicates that the most significantly delayed tumor growth was observed in the shBC200 and TMZ combination group, followed by shBC200 group, whereas TMZ and control groups did not differ significantly. (B) Bodyweight curves over time suggest no clear cytotoxic effects in all mice because no significant decrease in weight was observed. (C) Kaplan–Meier survival curve showed increased median overall survival in TMZ, shBC200, and shBC200/TMZ combination, whereas the combination group showed the best survival ratio. (D) Comparative real-time PCR analyses showed a significantly increased mRNA level of miR-218-5p expression in both shBC200 and shBC200/TMZ combination groups as compared with vehicle and TMZ counterparts.
