The effect of combination treatment of TNF-α and CDDP on MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 cells. (A) The cell viability is measured by the trypan blue exclusion assay. MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 cells were pre-treated with 20 ng/mL of TNF-α 1 h at 37 °C followed by the treatment of 5 and 20 µg/mL of CDDP. The cells were stained with trypan blue and counted using a haemocytometer and percentage of viable cells were calculated. (B) The morphological representation of TNF-α treated MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231 cells with CDDP. The cells were pre-treated with 20 ng/mL of TNF-α 1 h at 37 °C followed by the treatment of 5 and 20 µg/mL of CDDP.
