Excessive engraftment of CD34+ cells might cause graft vs. host disease (GvHD)-like symptoms. One of the mice showed signs of GvHD. First, a weight loss of 20% in less than a week (A). In addition, a decrease in the number of hCD45+ in peripheral blood (B) and reduced haematopoietic tissue in the BM, as compared with other mice (C).
