Figure 4.

Figure 4 is a map of Detroit, Michigan, U S A, depicting tracts for supervised heat vulnerability indices scores divided into eight groups, namely, 0 to 2, 3 to 5, 6 to 7, 8 to 10, 11 to 12, Detroit Boundary, Hamtramck and Highland Park, and Detroit River. A scale marking miles ranges from 0 to 2 in unit increments and 2 to 4 in increments of 2.

Supervised HVI scores for Detroit, Michigan, by tract. The Cities of Highland Park and Hamtramck, which are located within the boundaries of the City of Detroit, were treated as part of the City of Detroit for this analysis. Large HVI scores represent areas identified as being the most vulnerable to extreme heat. Note: HVI, heat vulnerability index.
