Correlation between PCT level and clinical response to radiotherapy in bacteria-infected subgroup A. Before microbiologically documented infections, patients underwent a series of clinical anticancer treatments. PD-radiotherapy (response to radiotherapy was PD) patients (n = 13) had higher PCT level than non-PD-radiotherapy (response to radiotherapy was SD and PR) patients (n = 12) in bacteria-infected subgroup A.
